Emma Fursman left St. Leonard’s School, St. Andrews in 1986 to study law at Aberdeen and Strathclyde Universities.
During her studies Emma gained work experience with Lovells Solicitors in Hong Kong in Construction Law. She trained with Maclay Murray and Spens and upon qualifying, took a year out to see the world.
While abroad Emma realised that there was room in the market place for a letting agent with legal expertise. Emma recalls “My husband and I left our flats in the hands of separate letting agents. Upon our return we discovered that both agents had made a mess of the lettings”.
In 1995 Emma completed an MBA at Edinburgh University. In 1997 “I took the plunge and started Dunpark”
Today, thirteen years on, Dunpark looks after the interests of hundreds of clients, many overseas, manages more than £100 million of property and provides quality accommodation to thousands of tenants.

Emma is a mother of three children and enjoys running marathons.
